Welcome to The Culture of Burnout blog!

Welcome!

Hi everyone and welcome to the culture of burnout blog!

We’re so excited to launch this new platform. We want to continue discussions, share insights, and provide helpful tips for your particular journey with burnout.

Whether you’ve read “The Culture of Burnout” or not, we know this blog will be able to help you. It will help you better understand why America has a culture of burnout, and why your exhaustion is not your fault.

Before we get into any of the juicy material, let us introduce ourselves!

Two White women, smiling at the camera. They are holding glasses of champagne. The woman on the left has red hair with a bun on top of her head. She is wearing a read top and black glasses. The woman on the right is wearing a blue sweatshirt, she has a read hair band and black, curly hair.

What To Expect

It may sound cliche to say that this book was a passion project, but it’s true. We are both in burnout recovery – for different reasons and with different symptoms. As we started to research for the book, we discovered the “why” behind America’s culture of burnout. We also learned how it was preventing people from finding true understanding and healing.

From tips on recovering from burnout, to conversations about whether it’s possible to achieve work-life balance, we want this blog to be a gathering place for productive conversations about burnout.

We’ll be coming at you twice a week for the foreseeable future. If you don’t want to miss any news from us – from book signings and festivals to new projects – sign up for our newsletter here: https://bit.ly/COBnewsletter

Until next time, may you remember that you are a human being, not a human doing, and you deserve to rest.

All the best,

Erin + Kristen
